“CHIEF’S SET” – This is a full set for a roadman or a chief to run a ceremony through the Native American Chruch ceremony. It includes a staff, a gourd rattle, a drumstick, a tying stick for drum, and a fan to compliment the whole set. The wood is made of Gabon ebony, also known as Black Ebony. This set took me over a month to complete, many hundreds of hours of work and thinking that went into completing this set. The colors of made to compliment the old styles, but the designing is made to compliment the most updated designs, unique to the artist’s taste. Enjoy

“Sacred White Bird” – These feathers are from Oregon Greys. This is a loose flat fan, good for a peyote or dancing fan. All the stems are beaded with size 15 seed beads. The handle is beaded with size 15 seed beads. The design is of the sacred White Bird, also known as T’aachiilghai in the Dine language. This bird is one of the most sacred bird amongst the Dine people, the highest regards for this bird.

“HUMMINGBIRD” – These are military macaw mixed with blue and gold macaws. This is a loose style flat fan, held together with beads in between the stems. The bead work is all size 15 seed beads. The design on the beadwork is a flower with a hummingbird eating the pollen. Also has a bald eagle on the bead work too.

“WHITE BUFFALO” – These tails are from the Crimson Dawn bird. This is one of a kind, you will never see another set of tails like this one. This is a hybrid, so you get to see a set like this once, then you won’t see another one. This is for someone that wants something so special, so unique, and wants the finest.

“BUTTER FLY” – These are feathers from Scarlet macaws, Blue and Gold Macaw, and a Yellow Camelot Macaw. The designing is a Butterfly design on the bead work, and a matching feather work and threadwork to go along with it.

“GRIZZLY” - This is a loose flat fan style. Peyote fan or a men’s dancing fan. Check out the pictorial beadwork, it is a design of a Grizzly bear. The tails are from a Crimson Dawn turkey tail. I sure do like the markings on these feathers, Absolutely stunning! The feather work 24 layers of feather work on each stem. It also has stacked treads on each stem. It has twisted, white deer hide fringe. And beaded with size 15 seed beads.

“FROSTY MORNING” – This is a Ladies dancing fan, it is a stiff flat fan. The feathers are from speckled silver dapple, absolutely gorges tails. Each stem on the feather is beaded with size 15 seed beads. The handle is also beaded with size 15 beads. The colors come from an early winter morning, when the frost is still all over and the sun is coming up. This would be very appropriate for a jingle dance or a lady’s fan.

GOURD RATTLES

These are all the gourd rattles that I have for sale. All these gourd rattles have twisted leather fringes. The tassel is made of horse mane hair, with feather work, and tread work. The gourd shells are about 2.5 to 3 inches in diameter. The beadwork on the handles are all made of size 15 seed beads. All the handles are turned on lathe, and polished up to a very fine finish. All are design so it fits in you hand very well, and are balanced out very well. Mostly all the beadwork are of the gourd stitch style, different and unique to my style of beading.
